I Actually Went Shopping Today, For Real.
It just wasn't with my money, hehe. My mom decided that we needed to have an "all about Isabelle" day because she was watching super nanny last night and she was "touched by the fact that the mother and daughter didn't have a relationship", blahda, blahda. So, she asked me what I wanted to so, and I said shop. We went to three different places, and I got some great stuff, although I wish I could've gotten more. [edit] We're actually going out again tomorrow, SCORE![/edit]
Alright, so, from a Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (a childs' hospital) thrift store, I only found three things, but I am in love with them.
To start off the shopping, I found this gorgeous shirt. I've been in desperate need of a white shirt, plus, I'm a stickler for collars, so when i saw this, there was just no way I could refuse buying it. It fit me and looks amazing in person, I'm so glad I found it.
Then, I found this blazer. I. LOVE. IT. It's not only black, elegant, and can button over my obese stomach, it also has a leopard print collar. SO IN LOVE. I can't even express my love for collar
s, nor my love for leopard print, so when these two things combined, I just about died.
My mom picked out this lovely blazer for me. It's got a nice hound's tooth print, and looks very slimming on me, which I enjoy. I really love this blazer and I'm glad we found it, I can wear it with so many things.
Next, we went to T.J. Maxx. GREAT. IDEA. I found a majority of my clothing there, and it was great.
This was one of the many sweaters I found there. I love the way it fits me, and the neckline pattern is really very beautiful and flattering (close-up on the right). My mom called it "preppy" but I told her that the style/label didn't much matter to me, just that fact that I loved it and I could see myself walking to the bus stop with the sweater, some mittens, and a hat.
Then I found this jacket. Let me just say, I'm so glad that I did. It fits wonderfully, it's got I guess what I would call "bubble sleeves". It's like having a bubble skirt on your arms. It's warm, cozy, comfy, and edgy. I just wish I could have bought eight of them. It's actually a Roxy jacket, which didn't surprise me, and I snatched it up as soon as I could.
And then I found this sweater dress. The picture really doesn't do it justice, but I love it nonetheless. It's a mini dress, and a perfect thing to wear with tights and high boots. I can't wait to strut around in it during the winter and coming days/weeks/months/years.
I got this jacket next. I was really out on the hunt for a faux fur jacket, but instead I found this. It's only made of material, which I love, and is UBER soft, I could wear it all day. It's pattern is like, little swirls. I just love it.
Then I skipped along and went over to payless, since I've been dying for some new shoes.
These little pretties came per request of my mother. Apparently, when you're buying, you get to have a say in what is bought. Sigh. Well, I really warmed up to these. They're hound's tooth and black shiny stuff, They lok hid
eous to me in the box, but I really somewhat like them on my feet, so, not much to complain about.
The little moccasin babies to the right were of my choosing. I saw them, fell in love with them, and bought them. They're SUPER soft, and they conform to your feet, so there was really no size issue beyond the length of them when I tried on different pairs.
I don't have time to explain the next few pairs, so enjoy the eye candy (;

Fantasy Shopping
Don't you just love wanting new clothing but not having enough money to actually buy any? That's when I turn to my new favourite pastime, something I call "fantasy shopping". Really, all I do is bookmark items of clothing that I want really badly would love to possess, and then oogle over them until I convince my mother to let me buy them or until I get enough money to purchase them. So, lately, I've been really into bags, so let's start with those, shall we?
Alright, so, this first one I particularly like, because it's got that hand-woven Mexican feel in it, which I have really recently taken a strong liking to. It's really nice and I really like the pattern and the fact that it's drawstring, I really love drawstring bags. Along with the colors and everything else that's going on with this bag, it's got a lot of other things to offer and I really, honestly, truly, love it. As much as I wish I could one day have this bag, it's almost $200.00.
Okay, so, this one is from a girl that I've seen on lookbook named Kerti (http://lookbook.nu/user/65177-Kerti-P). This is from her etsy store (http://www.etsy.com/people/KertiDesigns), and I honestly ADORE this bag. It's her own design, she illustrated & printed it, and I honestly think it's adorable, feminine, and beautiful. I kind of shruck the picture & majorly resized it, but if you go here (http://www.etsy.com/listing/53305659/pretty-little-horses-print-tote-bag), you can see the real picture. It's only $18.00, so next month, it's going to be mine.
There are some more, but they're all ebay bags that are ending soon, so there's no point of putting them up here. So, on to clothing.
Okay, so, starting with tights, I've wanted these tight for-freaking-ever. These specific tights are from modcloth, but really I just want polka dotted tights. Really, really, really, bad. I just love the way that it's all.. dotted. And the way that they're just.. I JUST WANT THEM SO BADLY.
Alright, so, this is the last one, just because I feel like I'm probably starting to bore you. Anyway, this top is from Forever 21, and I really like it. It's probably the vibe that it's giving off, and the way that it really goes with my style, I just want to snatch it up. I probably will, anyway, because it's only $18.00, score. I would love to also have all the bracelets and the necklace that the model is wearing. I would also like to look like the model.
And so, that is what I do with my time when I have nothing else to do. I think it's funny, haha.
